Rose Brand offers a wide range of technical and performance fabrics, which can be used as a projection screen. Reduced weight, varied shapes and edge finishing, as well as a wide seamless surface are some of the most significant benefits of using a textile when compared to traditional welded vinyl solutions.

The bright white surface of many of these fabrics offers high gain and wide viewing angles, but can be difficult to mask in a dark environment. In many cases, these fabrics are also available in grey, which strikes an ideal balance between gain, color rendering, contrast ratio, and the ability to be less noticeable on dark stages.

Though primarily used for front projection, certain fabrics provide sufficient light transmission suitable for rear projection projects. The success of rear projection through fabric is subjective and is influenced by the brightness of the projector, size of imaging, and the customer's expectations. If maximum brightness and image quality are needed, we strongly urge you to test your fabric choice to insure a successful event.

TIP: Choose grey colored fabrics, as opposed to white if you’d like to increase the contrast between light and dark colors in your projection under high ambient light conditions.
