SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER – Secaucus, NJ or Sun Valley, CA
  • Provide expert advice on Rose Brand products to insure a successful experience for the customer.
  • Offer design suggestions and providing quotations for custom drapery, rigging and scenic projects.
  • Manage customer service issues such as order tracking, returns and general inquiries.
  • Communicate and collaborate with other departments including production, engineering, sewing, shipping, and finance to insure all aspects of an order progress successfully.
  • Grow the list of satisfied repeat customers.
INSTALLATION PROJECT MANAGER – Sun Valley, CA
  • Lead installations of drapery rigging, fire curtains, track automation in theatre, casinos, cruise ship and theme parks locally and around the world.
  • Experience in design, drawing, fabrication, and installation of common theatrical engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in theatrical rigging and track installation.
  • Technical theatre experience, in either a stage or scene shop environment.
  • ETCP certification desirable but not required.
  • Experience leading crews of 4 or more people.
  • Willingness to travel locally, domestically, and internationally.
DESIGN DEPARTMENT LEAD, ADC Track Division -- Allentown, PA

ADC Acquisition Corp d/b/a Automatic Devices Company seeks Design Department Lead for its Allentown, PA office to lead a team in designing mechanical components and systems for live entertainment and industrial applications, development of automation control systems, electrical control circuits as well as machine design, used in the automation of live stage and industrial linear track and lift systems, and design and development of standardized product lines that utilize shared componentry.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent in in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related, plus five (5) years of post-baccalaureate experience in:

  • Testing designs using Nastran (FEA) to determine structural and mechanical suitability for design application.
  • Utilizing design concepts and create functional, reliable, mechanical designs in Autodesk Inventor.
  • Overseeing weldment fabrication, laser, plasma, water cutting, subtractive machining, additive machining, sheet metal fabrication and finishing processes.
  • Overseeing the design of automation and control system componentry.
  • Software development, control protocols, and their integration into theatrical automation systems.
  • Making design decisions and justifying cost versus reliability and cost versus functionality and implementing decisions and procedures departmentally.
  • Choosing components, determining force vectors and properly sizing motors, actuators, brakes, gearboxes, hydraulic systems, and associated components to design machines which function effectively, and within industry performance and safety factors and standardizing componentry decisions departmentally.
  • Practicing tolerancing principles as defined by the permissible limits of variation in physical dimensions, a measured value or physical property of a material, manufactured object, system, or service as applies to individual parts and complete assemblies and systems.
  • Working on Epicor ERP system.
