Job Purpose
Resolve customer order issues and sell products to walk-in customers at the Rose Brand corporate headquarters in Secaucus, New Jersey.
Key Responsibilities
- Resolve customer order issues related to
- Products
- Fulfillment
- Billing
- Misc. complaints
- Support the Sales team in their efforts to maintain customer goodwill while also protecting company interests
- File claims with shipping carriers
- Sell products to walk-in customers
Skills/Qualifications
- Must be able to multi-task, handle a high volume of activity and prioritize tasks.
- Strong problem resolution skills approach to handling issues.
- Strong interpersonal skills to deal with customers, sales reps, warehouse personnel, supervisors, co-workers, and vendors.
- Strong organization, coordination, and communication skills, with the ability to convey a sense of confidence re problem resolution.
- Strong data entry skills (work with company order management system and shipping carrier systems).
- 1-2 years experience in customer service, sales, and / or data entry is a big plus.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook are a plus.

Job Title: Rose Brand Technical Department Summer Intern
Rose Brand is seeking a college student for a 2012 Summer technical internship. Job responsibilities will vary from day to day depending on the projects scheduled for the Technical Department. Overall an intern at Rose Brand will be given the opportunity to learn and work in the NYC metro area while exploring various facets of the entertainment industry.

As an intern you will be given the opportunity to:
- Obtain hands on experience by assisting with installations of track systems
- Gain experience in using AutoCAD to produce drawings of various products and projects
- Work within a Project Management team; assisting in research and drawing development
- Assist in the Sewing Department and become knowledgeable about the different characteristics of each fabric
- Enhance your ability to create reliable specs by understanding the features and benefits of various fabrics
Requirements:
- Technical Direction or Technical Theatre Major
- Experience with AutoCAD & Mircosoft Office
- Knowledge of theatrical hardware and theatrical rigging
Additional Information:
- The summer internship will last for a minimum of 8 weeks. Exact dates are flexible.
- Intern will be scheduled for roughly 30 hours per week, but hours may vary depending on what projects are in house.
- The Intern is responsible for local housing and travel to and from Secaucus, New Jersey (a 10-minute ride from NYC via public transportation.)
- There is a stipend for local transportation and some out of pocket expenses.
