Sharkstooth Scrim
Sharkstooth Scrim is an open weave net, meaning that there is more open space than actual fabric. The opening of our standard 2-thread construction sharkstooth scrim weave is 1/8” by 1/16”. Sharkstooth Scrim is primarily used to achieve the “bleed through” effect; magically revealing items upstage of the scrim.
When lit properly, Sharkstooth Scrim can appear either opaque or transparent. These effects are then used to perform conceals and reveals. Sharkstooth Scrim can also be used to create the illusion of distance.
