No need to purchase new uprights when the top becomes damaged or unusable. Cut off the damaged top, slide the repair end into the upright and secure it with a rivet or screw. Eight slots add versatility, and also allow the drape support to be mounted flush with the top, achieving complete masking of the upright top.
