Heat Protection Fabrics

Heat protective fabrics are often used where hot equipment such are lighting fixtures are in close proximity to other set pieces. For example a heat borders can be placed between a decorative border and lighting gear. We carry high heat fabrics, premade heat borders and our sewing facilities can build to your specification.

 

Fire marshalls are more commonly requiring ceiling pieces for trade shows and film shoot "overheads" to allow water and spoke to pass through in a fire. A popular choice are fabrics like our Melt Out, which have a fusable thread and breaks apart in the event of fire so that the sprinklers above can do their job and smoke can dissipate.
