FAQs
What information is required when ordering a custom-made PVC projection screen?
Ordering a custom-made PVC projection screen is straightforward. First, you must determine which type and color of movie screen material is required. We offer a wide range of types and colors, each with its own benefits. Next, you must determine the required size, which is the measured height and width of the screen relative to its outside dimensions. If you need an irregularly shaped screen, draw a box around the shape and calculate its square footage. Then, we require the bolt width of goods (55" or 86" goods) and the type of finish required. Lastly, please specify the requested delivery date. For more information, please refer to our ordering guide.
How do I know which projection material is best for my project?
With so many options, it can be daunting to choose the best movie screen material for your PVC or fabric screen projector. Each cinema screen material varies in several ways, in terms of gain, viewing angles, handling of ambient light and contrast, maximum seamless width and length, translucency, and more. To help determine which is the right material for you, please refer to our guide to various projection materials or give us a call at 800-223-1624.
What is the correct method of unpacking and maintaining my PVC projection screen?
Knowing how to properly unpack and maintain your new PVC projection screen is crucial to the product's long-term health. While each video projection screen fabric differs, there are some handy general rules of thumb to follow when you receive your new PVC screen. If the PVC screen is shipped in extremely cold conditions, store the boxed screen in a warm area so it can return to room temperature before opening. Generally, screens should be stored at temperatures between 40°F and 85°F. Once unfolded, you should never refold the screen for storage. Finally, to clean the screen, only use a soft cloth and mild dish soap. Harsh cleaners and abrasive products can damage the screen. If you have additional questions, refer to our guide on shipping, unpacking, and maintaining a PVC screen.
