Flow Release for Screen Goo

Larger screens may benefit from a small amount of an additive called “Flow Release” mixed in with the coatings. This will slow the drying process enough to minimize potential problems in application in very dry environments. A little Flow Release goes a very long way. One or two drops per 200mL (7 oz) is a good place to start. Add incrementally more if your first stroke starts to dry before the second is applied. Please ask for our advice if you are intending to execute a substantially large screen.

 

Flow Release will dramatically slow the drying time (double or more) and allow for a more perfect surface on large screens. It may take 3 to 6 hours for a layer to dry with this product in use, but the “lay” of the coatings on the surface will be noticeably more uniform and you will have more time to work on the surface.
