60" Firesist™, IFR

The new and improved Firesist™ (a.k.a. Sunbrella) is woven from high UV and fade resistant, solution dyed fiber and backed with a durable urethane/acrylic coating. It has excellent flexibility making it easy to sew. Perfect for outdoor use, it's mildew and fade resistant.

Specifications:
  • Weight: 8.7 oz. per sq. yard (shipping weight: .65 pounds per linear yard)
  • Color: dyed to be extremely resistant to color loss from UV exposure and weathering. Fade resistant to most chemicals including bleach.
  • Average life span/durability: 5 years
  • Surface: plain weave, highly water repellant finish
  • Underside: urethane/acrylic coating
  • Lighter shades translucent for back-lighting applications
  • Excellent abrasion resistance
  • Flexibility in hot and very cold conditions
  • Ultra-low shrink to eliminate sagging and engineered elasticity for perfect, long-lasting shape retention
  • Mildew resistance: Excellent with proper maintenance and cleaning
  • Excellent chemical resistance, sewability
  • Can be heat sealed using sealing tape and heat source
  • Flame Resistant Testing: Passes (but not limited to) all of the following: California State Fire Marshal Title 19, NFPA 701-99 (test method II), CPAI-84 (tent walls and roof), FMVSS 302, FAA 25.853 (Aviation), UFAC Upholstered Furniture Class 1
