Strut Nuts with Standard Spring

Sold each, in three thread sizes. Versabar lateral locking channel nuts are cold pressed, tapped, and cyanide hardened, so that their teeth will provide a positive "biting" action into the turned edges of Versabar channel selections. The nut bodies are designed with beveled ends which lock into position by contact with the interior side walls of the channel when turned 90°. Standard carbon steel channel nuts conform to ASTM #A576 GR 1015. Standard finish on carbon steel nuts is Electro-Galvanized conforming to ASTM B633 Type III SC1. Unless noted otherwise, fasteners and channel nuts shown in this section are U.S. Coarse thread.

Torque:
Fastener diameter dictates desired torque.
¼"- 20    6 ft/lbs.
3/8" - 16    19 ft/lbs.
½" - 13    50 ft/lbs.
