Flame Retardant
FIRE SAFETY IS A SERIOUS BUSINESS - and Rose Brand offers years of experience, dedicated support and practical solutions for your scenic flame retardant needs. Our goal is to guide your choices of fabrics and FR chemicals so that they are safe for you and your audiences.
There is no national, uniform fire safety code. Your local fire marshal or building inspector is the final authority for approval of these products in their jurisdictions. Treat and pre-test samples of all your substrates and have them approved by your local official prior to installation. Satisfactory fire resistance depends on proper identification of the substrate and proper application of the chemical according to the manufacturers' directions. Rose Brand cannot be held responsible for any rejections by local authorities. We only warrant that we have not misrepresented the manufacturers' claims about the fabrics and chemicals that we sell. Rose Brand's staff will be glad to assist you with approval procedures, product selection, and documentation requirements.
