The convergence of scenic, lighting & projection design has expanded the spectrum of projection surfaces. While Rose Brand offers Custom-made Projection Screens and screen material by the yard, we’ve also seen designers project onto many of our other fabrics with spectacular results.
For more faithful front and rear projection results, there are many fabrics that offer wide, lightweight, portable and economical solutions such as Muslin, Leno, Tendo, Poly Stretch, Textilene, Poly Silk and Scrim.
A fascinating array of visual effects can result from projecting on other non-traditional surfaces such as Shimmer Organza, Crystal, Tergalet, Lustre Net, Allegro and Sereno, just to name a few. We’ve also found that a light application of Screen Goo can turn dark fabrics such as Black Sharkstooth Scrim and Shimmer Voile into phenomenal projection surfaces. The possibilities are limitless.
